I wanted to reach out to you and hope that you can pass along some information regarding an event we will be having at the Loco Style Grindz restaurant located at 1650 E. Roosevelt St. The event will take place on October 22nd from 1-4pm! The restaurant will be having tacos and Sugar Skulls for individuals to decorate. the first 500 will get a sugar skull! We are looking for people to attend the event as well as donate any amount of sugar they can. Sugar for donation may be dropped off at the Central City Precinct on 16th St. to me Officer Rodriguez. If individuals can not donate sugar we still encourage them to come and attend the event!:) DONATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR ATTENDANCE! We just want the community to come and enjoy some food and some fun with some neighborhood officers!
If individuals are interested in donating sugar we ask that you please donate it by October 12th so we can have the skulls decorated by the following week! If anyone has any questions please let me know.
